4 New Officers Sworn In To Lacey Township Police Department
Casey Lepeshko, Damian Morrone, Christopher Locha, Jr. and Kevin Tranz are Lacey's four newest police officers.

LACEY, NJ — Four new officers were sworn in to the Lacey Township Police Department at a recent committee meeting, adding to the department's force.
Casey Lepeshko, Damian Morrone, Christopher Locha, Jr. and Kevin Tranz are the four newest officers, sworn in at the Aug. 10 meeting.
Chief Christopher Kenny and Cpt. Paul Sullivan were there to speak on the accomplishments the young men had achieved and shared kind words.

Lepehsko, 23, a lifelong Waretown resident, comes from the Ocean County Sheriff's Department where he worked as an investigator. He received his full certification a few months ago.
Morrone is a Lacey resident and graduated from Lacey Township High School in 2015. Previously, he was a police explorer. He too worked as an investigator in the Ocean County Sheriff's Department.

Another Lacey Township High School graduate, Locha also attended the Ocean County Police Academy. Kenny said he gave a great interview and was very "confident and capable."
Tranz is the department's fifth legacy member - his father was an officer with Sullivan's father. He also graduated from Lacey Township High School in 2015 and went on to serve in the U.S. Marine Corps before putting himself through the police academy.
Kenny said that he hoped the four would have the success and appreciation for the job that he did.
