LACEY, NJ — 2022 brought a lot to Lacey Township, including the opening of new businesses. Different kinds of restaurants, plus a new gaming store, came to town this year.
Each of these new businesses has brought something new and exciting to the Lacey community. Here are five businesses that opened in Lacey during 2022.

It seems like forever ago, but Pine Tar opened in the beginning of 2022. This sports bar features fun events and specials nearly every night of the week, so there's something for everyone. Their "Thinny Thin Pie" has become a popular choice for those in town seeking an extra-crispy pizza crust.
Taco-Tastic (344 Rt. 9, Lanoka Harbor)

This authentic Mexican restaurant recently opened its doors in November, after residents had eagerly anticipated the opening for months. It serves a variety of tacos with different meats, but also burritos, bowls, tamales and more, plus sweet desserts. The Lanoka Harbor location is the fourth; there are two Toms River locations and a seasonal Seaside Heights location.
Breakfast at Bryant's (44g Manchester Ave., Forked River)
You can never have too many breakfast options. And Breakfast at Bryant's in Forked River definitely has a lot. Their massive menu offers eggs, pancakes, waffles, French toast and more, plus healthy options for those not wanting a smorgasbord for breakfast. In just a short amount of time, it's already become a local favorite.
La Catrina (17 Lacey Rd., Forked River)
Another Mexican restaurant - seems like Lacey just can't get enough of them. Lacey's newest restaurant just opened in the beginning of December. This spot serves a variety of authentic dishes. It even offers breakfast specials, making this a great spot to dine at all hours of the day.
Shipwreck Games (118 N Main St. Suite #1, Forked River)
This is a cool spot that brings something different to Lacey. This locally-owned gaming store opened in May and provides a family-friendly environment for the gamers of Lacey. Not only does it sell tabletop games and trading card games, it also hosts game nights for fans of Magic the Gathering, Pokémon and other fun games.
