7-Eleven With Drive Through to Open Behind the Lacey Shell
Site owner anticipates a grand opening before the end of the year
A 7-Eleven with a drive through window will be opening behind the Lacey Shell on Lacey Road in Forked River by the end of the year.
The convenient store will be one of the first with a drive through, site owner Waseem Chaudhary of Sean Realty, LLC said.
The drive through will have a menu but generally customers will be able to purchase coffee, slurpees, donuts and sandwiches, he said.

Drivers will proceed to the drive through in the back of the 7-Eleven and will exit either in front of the Lacey Shell or onto Newark Avenue, Chaudhary said.
The and auto repair garage, also located on the site, will remain open, Chaudhary said. But the convenient store located in between Shell’s pumps, will be demolished.

Another is located on Lacey Road, less than one mile down. That store will also remain open, he said.
“We’re targeting different traffic,” Chaudhary said.
The manager of the currently open 7-Eleven could not immediately comment on whether the new convenient store will take away business.
Chaudhary anticipates opening the store prior to Saturday, Dec. 31. The store will be open 24 hours, seven days a week.
“Once we open, we’ll have a big grand opening. I hope everyone will come,” he said. “We’re looking forward to adding a 7-Eleven to the site and we’re looking forward to serving our customers.”
