The Rotary Club of South Amboy - Sayreville will be presenting the I Heart Horror & Hot Rods Ice Cream Monster Jamboree on Saturday, May 16th, at the VFW Post 4699, located at 575 Jernee Mill Road in Sayreville, New Jersey. Taking place from 10:00am until 4:00pm, the event is being co-sponsored by Ice Cream Monster and the I Heart Horror Day Company. The indoor activities will end by 2:00pm. Car registration will be taking place from 8:00am until 10:00am, with a registration donation of $20.00. The outdoor car show is free to the public. The donations will be used to help support our local veterans.
Inside the VFW, or The Spiritual Realm & Time Tunnel, there will be educational and mesmerizing talks by specialists such as Cryptid hunters, UFO connoisseurs and historians, among others. Expected to join these specialists include psychics, tarot readers, mediums and paranormalists. Care package items for our troops serving overseas can also be donated inside. .Some of the guests that are scheduled to be inside include Jason Knight and Andrew Anderson from the world of professional wrestling. Horror Host Sally The Zombie Cheerleader will be returning for this event. Musician Tim McMurtrie and Jersey Devil Historian Tony DiGerolamo will also be inside. Paranormal Investigators Ron Yacovetti and Lourdes Gonzalez are also scheduled to appear bringing along with them some fascinating stories. Bell, Book and Spirits will be on hand to talk about medium readings.
Besides Karaoke Joe performing in the bar, there will be live music by The Bellas, John Walsh, Springwood's Electric Luau, Black Well Mill and Ronnie Skull & The Bloody Daggers. This part of the day will be hosted by Troma's Purple Pam.
