LACEY, NJ — The Lacey Township Committee officially approved the 2026 budget at a recent meeting.
It comes with an increase over last year of $1,852,878.
The tax increase in this budget is 4.3 cents, which is a 7.66 percent increase, according to township officials.

The largest factor in the increase is a rise in the cost of state health benefits. Costs are more than $2 million.
The owner of a home assessed at $300,000 will pay an extra $129.58 annually, township officials said. This is an extra $10.80 a month.
The budget was approved unanimously.
