FORKED RIVER, NJ - Readers in Lacey will have five days in June to shop for books and support the local library at the same time.
The Lacey Branch of the Ocean County Library will host the Friends of the Lacey Library Book Sale from Tuesday, June 2, through Saturday, June 6, at the branch at 10 East Lacey Road in Forked River.
The sale is scheduled for 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. on June 2, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on June 3 and June 4, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on June 5, and 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on June 6.
According to the library, all proceeds from the sale will benefit the Friends of the Lacey Library. The Friends of the Library are a community resource that provides local support for Ocean County Library branches.
Those funds are used to expand programming at branches and support ongoing projects. Members advocate in their communities for the library by attending community and civic events and supporting the public library mission for Freedom to Read and Access to Information.
