LACEY, NJ — A special Lacey Township Committee meeting is set for later this month to discuss a potential YMCA facility.
The township has been discussing a potential partnership with the YMCA of the Jersey Shore to provide year-round recreation, especially swim programs.

Township officials say that having a YMCA facility would be a positive part of the community, offering a place for year-round recreation and creating jobs in town.

At the upcoming meeting, residents will have to chance to share their thoughts and ask questions.
The meeting is set for June 25 at 6 p.m. in the municipal building (818 Lacey Road).
