FORKED RIVER, NJ — The Lacey Branch of the Ocean County Library will host a reception for an art exhibition featuring work by the Arts Community of Lacey NJ from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 6, in the branch meeting room.
The public event will give residents a chance to meet local artists and talk with them about their work. The exhibition itself will remain on display throughout the month of July during the branch’s regular operating hours, according to the program announcement.
The show spotlights the Arts Community of Lacey NJ, identified in the announcement as a new arts organization serving the Lacey Township area. According to the announcement, the group aims to inspire creativity, cultivate talent and enhance quality of life locally.
The organization’s mission statement says it seeks “To enrich the cultural fabric of Lacey Township by fostering a vibrant arts community that supports and promotes visual and fine arts, music, dance, and performing arts. The reception is scheduled at the library branch at 10 East Lacey Road in Forked River. Registration is not required for the program, according to the announcement, making it open to people who want to stop in and view the work or speak with participating artists.
