5 Ocean County Events To Check Out This Weekend

Ocean County residents have plenty of ways to spend the weekend.

OCEAN COUNTY, NJ — From food trucks and live music to Christmas in July celebrations, a family-friendly crabbing contest and a flower-picking festival, Ocean County residents have plenty of ways to spend the weekend.

Here are five events happening this weekend:

Street Eats and Brews

Dancer Farm in New Egypt will host Street Eats and Brews on Saturday and Sunday, July 25 and 26, with an event lineup that blends food, drinks, music and family fun.

The event features Sip & Snip flower picking, live music, beer, Laurita Wines, more than 20 vendors, food trucks, a tethered balloon ride, country-themed photo opportunities, a kids' play area and cornhole. The event is weather permitting.

Admission is $10, while guests under 21 are admitted free. Street Eats and Brews is also scheduled for additional weekends in August, September and October.

Berkeley Township Food Truck & Music Festival

Foodies can head to Veterans Park in Bayville for Berkeley Township's Food Truck & Music Festival Summer Blowout from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday.

The festival will feature 15 gourmet food trucks, an adult beverage garden, a vendor shopping village, kids' activities and live bands.

Admission is $5, with children under 10 admitted free. Veterans Park is located at 489 Bill Zimmerman Jr. Way in Bayville. More information is available through Municipal Events.

Christmas In July Craft Vendor Market

Holiday shopping arrives early at the Christmas in July Craft Vendor Market at Toms River Intermediate South in Beachwood.

The free, family-friendly event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and offers shoppers a chance to get a jump on holiday shopping while supporting rescue cats through K's Kitten Rescue.

Santa will be on hand, and the event will include prizes, a mega 50/50 and a tricky tray. Toms River Intermediate South is located at 1675 Pinewald Road.

Christmas In July At Breakwater Beach

Those looking for a more summery take on the holidays can celebrate Christmas in July at Breakwater Beach Waterpark in Seaside Heights.

The event runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will feature Santa and holiday characters, festive music and holiday-themed fun at the waterpark.

Guests can also give back by bringing a new bathing suit with tags to donate to the Garden State Bathing Suit and Goggle Drive. The person making the donation can receive a free full-day waterpark admission for a future visit. The offer is limited to one bathing suit donation per person and is available from 9 a.m. to noon.

Breakwater Beach Waterpark is located at 62 Grant Ave. in Seaside Heights.

The Bunker Challenge Crabbing Contest

For an early start to the weekend, crabbers can head to Mantoloking Bridge County Park in Brick for The Bunker Challenge Crabbing Contest.

The contest runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday and has no entry fee. Participants will compete in two categories: ages 12 and under and ages 13 and up. Bunker will be provided by Jenkinson's Aquarium.

Mantoloking Bridge County Park is located at 70 Herbert St. in Brick.

With food, music, shopping, holiday fun and a little friendly competition on the water, Ocean County has something for just about everyone this weekend.
