Barbara DiPaolo Of Forked River Dies At 69

Services for former secretary in Lacey Township school district will be held on Friday and Saturday.

Barbara DiPaolo, age 69, of Forked River, died on Sunday, Jan. 10, 2016.

Mrs. DiPaolo was employed as the secretary to the Vice-Principal of the Lacey Township High School before she retired in 2011. She was born in Jersey City and lived in North Bergen before moving to the Forked River section of Lacey Township in 1976.

She was a member of St. Mary’s Church, Barnegat. Mrs. DiPaolo was predeceased by her husband John in 2005.

Surviving are her two sons, Jason and his wife Kelly of Stafford Township and James and his wife Adrienne of Lanoka Harbor; her brother Walter DeTombeur and his wife Sue of Belmar, NJ and six grandchildren, Daniel, John, Darby, Landry, Ridley and Shaylea.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Layton’s Home For Funerals in Forked River. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday at St. Mary’s Church, Barnegat. Entombment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery. For additional information please visit www.laytons.net
