Charles M. Dekker Of Forked River Dies At 45
Viewing on Sunday, funeral service slated for Monday.

Charles M. Dekker, 45, of Forked River passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2014.
Charlie was born and raised in Toms River, residing the last 13 years in Forked River. He was the owner and of Dekker’s Custom Building, formerly known as Dekker’s Decks, for over 25 years. He was a master of his trade renown for his work ethic and talent.

Charles enjoyed wrestling, boxing, Jiu-Jitsu, dirt biking, fishing and playing bass guitar. He absolutely loved cooking for his family and friends. He was an inspiration and role model to anyone that knew him. His personality and ability to make anyone laugh will be missed by many.
Mr. Dekker was predeceased by his father, Cornelius Dekker and son, Jason Misak. He is survived by his daughter Nicole Dekker, 26, sons Charles Dekker, 25, and Matthew Dekker, 12; his mother Shirley, longtime girlfriend Anastasia Sklavounos and grandson, Aiden DeNoia, 1. Also surviving are his sisters, Ann Marie Jackson and her husband, Kenneth, Darlene Ott, Bridget and Andrea Dekker, nephews Daymian Jackson and Julius Grande, niece Caysey Jackson and mother of Charles and Nicole, Angela Morgan.
A viewing will be held on Sunday, November 16, 2014 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Riggs Funeral Home, 130 North Rt. 9, Forked River, NJ 08731 and on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River.
