Donald L. MacGillivray, Sr., Korean War Veteran, Dies At 84
Services will be held on Sunday and Monday.

Donald L. MacGillivray, Sr., 84, of Lanoka Harbor passed away at home on September 30, 2015 surrounded by his family.
Donald was born in Newark and had resided in Lanoka Harbor since the 1940s. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. For 50 years, he owned and operated Mac Excavating, Lanoka Harbor. Donald enjoyed boating, spending time with his family and vacationing annually in Florida.
Mr. MacGillivray was predeceased by his wife of 54 years, Lillian MacGillivray (2005), his son David (1996) and his wife Ellen (2010), son Dean (2008) and his brother, Eric Fischer. He is survived by his children, son Donald Jr., son Douglas and his wife, Sharon, daughter Debra Fenton and his son, Darren and his wife, Lynn. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Donald III., Megan, Dean, Brian, Katelyn, Kimberly, Jeffrey, Gregory, Olivia, Caroline, Darren and Matthew, five great-grandchildren and his companion, Sandra Zerafa.
A viewing will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday, October 4, 2015 and from 9:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Monday, October 5, 2015 at the Riggs Funeral Home, 130 North Rt. 9, Forked River, NJ 08731. Burial will follow at Good Luck Cemetery, Lanoka Harbor.
