Driver Flees Scene After SUV Overturns In Lacey: Police
The driver of the overturned vehicle was taken to the hospital after the Garden State Parkway accident, police said.
LACEY, N.J. — A driver fled the scene after a two-vehicle accident that overturned an SUV on Monday night on the Garden State Parkway northbound, according to state police. The driver of the overturned Toyota 4Runner was taken to the Jersey Shore Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
The accident occurred at about 9:01 p.m. Monday. It is unknown what vehicle the person who left the scene was driving, police said. The Parkway was clear by 10:30 p.m., according to police.
