United Through Reading’s Military Program helps families stay connected. Deployed service men and women read a book aloud while being recorded on DVD. The DVD, along with the book, are sent home to their children, at no cost to the troops or families. Right now, more than 900 deployed service men and women are reading their children bedtime stories each month at USO centers, thanks to United Through Reading and donations made to the program. We are counting on the generosity of friends and family –and our Troops are counting on you too!
