Women's Life During the Civil War

Although 150 years have passed since the start of the American Civil War, many probing questions are still left unanswered.  This program investigates the meaning of the Civil War hidden behind the commonplace affairs of its people.  Mary Halasz opens the rusted doors to see what happened in the home front.  She will wear period clothes and use various authentic props to bring the 19th century alive.
