Forked River Man Charged With Drunk Driving

Lacey police made the arrest after a motor vehicle stop.

Lacey police recently arrested a Forked River man and charged him with drunk driving after a motor vehicle stop on Route 9, Police Chief David A. Paprota said.

Officer Charles May stopped Daniel Rojas III, 31, Constitution Drive at 9:35 p.m. on Sept. 14 near the Lacey Mall for improper maintenance of lamps, the chief said.

Investigation at the scene determined that Rojas was driving under the influence. He was taken to police headquarters, where he was also charged with reckless driving. His car was impounded pursuant to John‘s Law, Paprota said.
