Former Ocean County Sheriff's Officer Joins Lacey Police Department
Martin A. Julian is also an Operation Iraqi Freedom veteran and member of Army National Guard.

Former Ocean County Sheriff’s Officer Martin A. Julian has a new title - Lacey Township Patrolman.
Julian was sworn in on Monday by Township Administrator Veronica Laureigh, with his wife Jamie by his side, Police Chief David A. Paprota said.
Martin is a “lateral transfer” from the Sheriff’s Department, where he served for three years as a detective in the warrants unit and and as a member of the sniper platoon of the Ocean County Regional SWAT Team, the chief said.

Julian currently serves a Staff Sergeant with the Army National Guard and is a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Julian will serve as a uniformed patrol officer after completing his field training with department field training officers, Paprota said.
