Frances Matias Of Lanoka Harbor Dies At 63

Frances Matias (nee Johnson), age 63, of Lanoka Harbor died on Dec. 18, 2015 at Community Medical Center in Toms River.

Born in Lakewood and formerly of Waretown, she moved to Lanoka Harbor 35 years ago. Frances enjoyed knitting, watching Judge Judy, Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune.

Mrs. Matias was predeceased by her sister Paula Gennaro. Surviving are her husband of 43 years, William “Billy”, three children Michael and his wife Tara, Melissa Matias and Jason Matias, two grandchildren Matilda and Logan along with her sister Morta Lucadema and her husband Roy.

A Memorial Gathering will be held from 4 p.m. until the time of the 5:45 p.m. .service on Tuesday Dec. 22, 2015 at Riggs Funeral Home in, Forked River. Cremation was private.
