"In the late morning of August 1st, the home where mother Melanie, sister Hailey and Angel lived caught fire. While Melanie and Hailey were running errands, Angel was at home when the home caught fire," Mulligan wrote. "Angel was tragically trapped inside the home along with her Aunt Alaina, Aunt Jen and baby River and were unable to make it out."

All donations will go towards the family for funeral expenses and to help the family rebuild, he wrote.

Another GoFundMe was launched by a coworker of Daniel Wright, a member of the family who also works as a letter carrier at the Brick Post Office.

This fundraiser, which has raised nearly $10,000, describes him as "a great guy and a beautiful soul."

"Every single person in the Post Office where we work is devastated for Danny and his family," the GoFundMe reads. "We want to help them: they deserve our help. They don't deserve this unspeakable loss."

Officials described the fire as tragic.

"This is an unspeakable tragedy, and our prayers are with the loved ones of these victims," Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer said.
