Halloween Horror Coming Up At Lacey Branch Of The Ocean County Library
The Traveling Literary Theatre will present an evening of ghost stories for adults.

“True! --nervous --very, very dreadfully nervous I had been and am; but why will you say that I am mad? The disease had sharpened my senses --not destroyed --not dulled them. Above all was the sense of hearing acute. I heard all things in the heaven and in the earth. I heard many things in hell. How, then, am I mad? Hearken! and observe how healthily --how calmly I can tell you the whole story.” - The Tell-Tale Heart” by Edgar Allen Poe
That’s just one of the stories The Traveling Literary Theatre will act out at 7 p.m. on Oct. 22 at the Lacey branch of the Ocean County Library in its production of ”Your Ghost Story.” The actors will be dressed in period attire. The presentation is not suitable for small children.
The group selects new ghost stories each year, but always tops the evening off with ”The Tell-Tale Heart.”
