Hammer-Wielding Robber Escapes From Lacey 7-Eleven: Police
The masked individual smashed out the glass countertop and stole cash from the register, police said.
LACEY, NJ — Police are looking for an individual who robbed the 7-Eleven last Saturday on 524 Lacey Rd. in Forked River. The hammer-wielding robber smashed out the glass portion of a countertop, stole cash from the register and ran out of the store, police said.
Police responded to the incident at 9:59 p.m. Saturday. An employee told police that a white male wearing a mask demanded money from the register.
Lacey police and the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department CSI Unit and a K-9 unit responded to the scene. No other information is available at this time.
