Holiday Blood Drive Set In Lacey

FORKED RIVER, NJ — While many are getting ready to celebrate the holiday season, others are worried about their family members who need blood transfusions that could save their life.

New Jersey Blood Services is hosting a blood drive at the Forked River Presbyterian Church (131 N. Main St., Forked River) on Nov. 28 from 12:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Not only will all donors get the rewarding feeling of helping others, they'll also get a discount coupon to Anthony's Pizza and Grill in Lanoka Harbor.

Donors 76-and-older need a doctor's note, unless one is already on file. Sixteen-year-olds need a signed New York Blood Center parental consent form.
