Hospital Workers Who Live In Lacey Can Get Free Gift Cards
All hospital staff who live in Lacey can get a gift card for Captain's Inn or Caffrey's. Lacey police organized the effort.
LACEY, NJ — Every Lacey resident who works in a hospital can get a gift card from Captain's Inn or Caffrey's. Lacey police organized the effort to thank all hospital staff during the novel-coronavirus crisis.
All hospital staff, regardless of position, are eligible for a $25 gift card from either location. Just display a hospital ID to receive the gift from either location. You can use it promptly for a takeout order or save it for later. This will remain in effect while supplies last.

"This includes, but is not limited to, our doctors, nurses, technicians, phlebotomists, registration staff, security officers, custodial staff, and cafeteria staff," Lacey police said in the announcement. "Yes, this includes every Lacey Township resident who is a hospital employee."
Lacey police, the Lacey Township Superior Officers Association and Lacey Township PBA 238 put together the endeavor. Two anonymous donors made gracious contributions toward this offer, according to Lacey PD.

The Ocean County Health Department has reported 2,624 positive cases in the county as of Wednesday morning, including 75 in Lacey. Eighty-five people in Ocean County have died from the virus as of Wednesday morning, according to state officials.
