I Heart Horror Convention Comes Home!

I Heart Horror Mini Convention returns to VFW in Sayreville.

The Brothers Cuneo are excited to be returning to where it all started for them and I Heart Horror when they bring their fourth installment of their I Heart Horror Day Convention, which is appropriately referred to as "Eyegore's 4th Score," to VFW Post 4699 on Saturday, February 21st. Located at 575 Jernee Mill Road in Sayreville, New Jersey, the event begins at 11:00am and runs until 7:00pm. For what you will experience at this convention, the admission price is an unbelievably low $20.00, with children 12 years of age or younger only costing $5.00. Once again raising money for the Deborah Hospital Foundation, this year's event will be taking on a Patriotic / Americana theme with the date being close in proximity to President's Day.

Back by popular demand will be a silent auction where the winner will take part in a Zombie Wedding with their undead significant other. The ceremony will be officiated by Father Evil, who is really ordained to handle these matrimonial affairs. Of course, the marriage is not legally binding. However, if you take care of the license beforehand and want it to be official that can be arranged if you win during the auction process. In addition, Mr. Haunt will be a hosting a Zombie President Costume Contest, affectionately entitled "Night Of The Living Presidents." Prizes will be handed out for best costumes among different categories.

Tromaville will be invading a separate room for themselves. Actor, Composer, Comedian and Writer Bill Weeden will be on hand. He can be seen in films that include "Sgt. Kabukiman, NYPD" and "Citizen Toxie: The Toxic Avenger IV." He was extremely thrilled to be portrayed in animated form in the South Park episode "Sermon On The Mount." Frank Somma (writer / director), Cindy Manion (actor), and Robert Prichard (actor) are a few of the stars from the world of Troma who will be on hand.

Musicians will be performing acoustically throughout the day, including the returning Colie Brice and Sheena and the Wolfpack. Actors will be available for autographs from movies that include "Scream" and "Friday the 13th." Panel discussions, vendors, special guests and surprises will be filling up a fun-filled afternoon.
