Injuries Reported In Two-Car Accident In Lacey, Police Chief Says

Fire department was called because one of the cars was smoking, chief says

LACEY TOWNSHIP, NJ - Lacey police responded to what was originally thought to be a four-car accident at the intersection of Lacey Road and Lake Barnegat Drive on Monday, Police Chief Michael C. DiBella said.

Police responded to the two-car accident at 5:50 p.m. on Jan. 15. Emergency medical services responded for facial injuries and the fire department responded because one of the vehicles was smoking, the chief said.

Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene, DiBella said.
