Jacqueline J. Brewer Of Forked River Dies At 70

A memorial gathering for longtime bus driver for Lacey school district was held on June 7.

Jacqueline J. Brewer, 70, of Forked River passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at Tallwoods Care Center in Bayville.

Jacqueline was born and raised in Rahway and had summered in Forked River until the 1970s, when she permanently moved to the area. For many years, Jacqueline was a bus driver for Lacey Township, later, she worked at Community Medical Center as a sterile processing technician.

She always enjoyed outdoor activities, which included camping along the East coast. She was a member of the Lacey United Methodist Church, Forked River.

Jacqueline was predeceased by her husband, Robert Brewer in 1995. Surviving are her sons James Rutigliano and his wife, Celeste and Harry Rutigliano, daughter, Cynthia Brewer, nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and her sister, Geraldine.

A Memorial Gathering was held with a service on Sunday, June 7, 2015 at Riggs Funeral Home, 130 North Rt. 9, Forked River. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mrs. Brewer’s memory to the Lacey United Methodist Church, 203 Lacey Rd., Forked River, NJ 08731.
