Jeffrey T. Burgoyne Dies At 21 From Cystic Fibrosis

Jeffrey Travis Burgoyne, of Lacey Township, went home to join the Lord on March 29, 2016.

Jeffrey, who was 21, fought a courageous battle with cystic fibrosis. Jeffrey was the beloved son of Roger and Kathy Burgoyne and a loving younger brother to Roger and Steven. He had a smile that lit up the room and a laugh that will truly be missed by all. He loved his dog Cali and playing the drums.

Jeffrey was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Ida and Gilbert Burgoyne; his maternal grandfather, Donald Jimenez; and his uncles, John Frandsen and David Burgoyne. Jeffrey is survived by his maternal grandmother, Frances Jimenez, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Services will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, April 1, 2016 at Riggs Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Pius X Church, Forked River. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 1719 Rt 10, Suite 229, Parsippany, NJ 07054.
