Route 9 Cleaners Closes: Here's How To Get Your Clothes Back
You may need to file a complaint with the Ocean County Department of Consumer Affairs.

A dry-cleaning business in Forked River has closed, and some customers say they have been unable to retrieve clothes they dropped off there. Here is the first step for getting your clothes back.
The Ocean County Department of Consumer Affairs advised anyone who cannot pick up clothes to file a complaint with the DCA. You can mail complaint forms to the Ocean County DCA at 1027 Hooper Ave., Building #2, P.O. Box 2191, Toms River, NJ 08745-2191. The DCA said if they receive complaints, they will find the owners of the business to ensure they return clothing.
Attempts to contact Joy Cleaners, which was located near Fuji Japanese Restaurant, were unsuccessful. Their phone number has been disconnected. Employees in nearby businesses confirmed the cleaner closed.
