July 4 Festivities

What: Sounds of Summer Concert
Where: Veterans Park, Bayville
When: June 28, 6 p.m.

Enjoy Rock N' Rhythm, a vocal group with a tight harmonious sound of both traditional Doo-Wop and contemporary styles. Followed by Super TransAm an Arena Anthem band of the 70’s, including chart-topping hits from Queen, Foreigner, Journey and more. The night ends with the Independence Day fireworks display.


What: Concert And Fireworks Display
Where: Barnegat High School
When: July 1, dusk

A free concert at the Barnegat Dock precedes the fireworks display.


What: Independence Day Fireworks
Where: Lacey Township High School
When: July 3, festivities start at 7:30 p.m., fireworks begin at 9:15 p.m.

Enjoy live music by Shallow Green and lots of fun at this annual display.


What: Beachwood Fireworks On The Toms River
Where: Beachwood
When: July 4, dusk

The largest fireworks display in Ocean County has been held annually since the 1930s. Area traffic can be terrible as thousands attend, but it is worth the long time you'll spend on Route 9 afterwards.


What: Parade And Fireworks
Where: Tuckerton
When: July 4, 10 a.m.

The parade steps off at Marine Street at 10 a.m. At dusk, enjoy fireworks at Tip Seaman Park.


Enjoy fireworks displays on Long Beach Island on July 3 (Surf City) and July 4 (Beach Haven).
