Kurt Aaron Thatcher Of Waretown Dies At 24

Kurt Aaron Thatcher, 24, of Waretown, formerly of Forked River, passed away Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015, in the morning at his home.

Born in Toms River, he was a graduate of Lacey High School. Kurt will be remembered as a kind and caring young man, who battled with Cystic Fibrosis all his life. He loved spending time with his family and friends and his pets, especially his dog Ace. His hobbies were music, drawing, and poetry writing.

Surviving are his mother, Susan Thatcher; father, Kevin Thatcher; brother, Eric Thatcher; stepmother, Stacey Thatcher; stepfather, Jeffrey Nolan, and many other family members and dear friends.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 17 at the Riggs Funeral Home, Route 9, Forked River.
