Lacey Adopts 2022 Municipal Budget
The budget was adopted at a recent Township Committee meeting.

LACEY, NJ — The Lacey Township Committee voted to adopt the 2022-23 municipal budget at a recent meeting.
The general appropriations of the budget is $35,859,080.55. The reserve for uncollected taxes is $1,287,826,45, which brings the total general appropriations to$37,246,907.
There is a tax increase of 1.4 cents, which is "phenomenal," said Municipal Clerk Veronica Laureigh. This is base inflation rate, she said.

The average home in Lacey assessed at $275,000 will pay annually an increase of $39 in taxes. This is an extra $3.25 a month.
The committee voted unanimously to adopt the budget.
