Lacey Bicycle Rodeo Set For This Weekend
Lacey students who register and attend the May 30 event can enter prize drawings for bikes, accessories and T-shirts.
LACEY, NJ — A Bicycle Rodeo is scheduled for Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Lacey Township Middle School in Forked River, with prize drawings, a BMX stunt show and public safety demonstrations planned for the afternoon event.
The event will run from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the school, 660 Denton Ave. According to the event announcement, all Lacey Township School District students who register and attend will be eligible to win one of three SE Bikes shown in the promotion, along with additional bicycles, bicycle accessories, exclusive Bicycle Rodeo T-shirts by Jetty Ink, Beachwood Bicycles gift cards and other prizes.
Registration is available through the township's online recreation system at parksrec.egov.basgov.com/laceynj/Search?TagId=598. The announcement describes the prize drawings as available to district students who both register and attend the event.

Organizers said the afternoon also will include a BMX stunt show by the Dialed Action Sports Team. Food and drinks will be available for purchase from Chick-fil-A, Between The Bunz NJ Food Truck, Elemen7ts by NitroGirl, and Tom and Dee's Italian Ice, according to the announcement.
The event is also expected to feature DJ entertainment, as well as demonstrations by the Ocean County Sheriff's Office K-9 and Motorcycle Unit. Beachwood Bicycles and the Greater Mercer Transportation Management Association are also listed as participants in the event announcement.

The Bicycle Rodeo is set for Saturday, May 30, from noon to 5 p.m. at Lacey Township Middle School in Forked River. Registration information is available through the township recreation link included in the event announcement.
