Lacey Cops Charge Man With Drunk Driving, Leaving Accident Scene
Phillip A. Scheller, 40, is also facing other charges, police chief says

LACEY TOWNSHIP, NJ - Lacey police recently charged a Forked River man with drunk driving after he left the scene of an accident on Enterprise Drive, Police Chief Michael C. DiBella said.
Officers Christopher Meyler and Anthony Sarno responded to 300 Enterprise Drive near the intersection of Independence Drive on a report of a one-car accident at 9:43 pm. on Jan. 13. They found Phillip A. Scheller's car on the front lawn with extensive damage from striking a rock, a stop sign and a fence, DiBella said.
Scheller was taken to police headquarters, where he was also charged with reckless driving, failure to maintain lane, leaving the scene of an accident and failure to report an accident, the chief said.

Scheller's vehicle was impounded pursuant to John's Law.
