Lacey Democratic, GOP Primary Results 2019

Primary races on both sides of the aisle are uncontested in Lacey this June.

LACEY, NJ — Primary Election Day is here in Lacey Township, and both the Democratic and Republican primaries are uncontested.

Unaffiliated voters could vote in the either primary and you are able to return to being unaffiliated after voting. The Ocean County Clerk's office has information.

Lacey is holding elections for two Township Committee seats.

Township Committee, Republican (vote for two)

  • Steven Kennis, 829 votes (50.77 percent)
  • Peter Curatolo, 802 (49.11 percent)
  • write-in, 2 (0.12 percent)

Township Committee, Democrat (vote for two)

  • Edward "Ted" Kownacki, 310 (50.16 percent)
  • Erik Mazur, 302 (48.87 percent)
  • write-in, 6 (0.97 percent)

These candidates will appear on the general election ballot come November, setting up a contested race then.
