Lacey Faces String Of Vehicle Burglaries: Police

LACEY, NJ — A series of vehicles have been burglarized in the past week in Lacey, police said. In one case, three homeowners on the same street told police their vehicles were entered.

Here's what happened, according to police:

• A victim on Sinclair Avenue reported Sunday morning that their vehicle was burglarized during the previous night. The stolen belongings are valued at $400.
• A woman reported Sunday morning that someone entered her unlocked vehicle during the previous night. A small amount of cash was stolen. The incident took place on Predmore Avenue.
• Three Ash Road homeowners reported Sunday their vehicles were burglarized during the previous night. Each victim said small amounts of change were stolen.
• A Forest Avenue resident told police Tuesday that someone broke into his vehicle. An iPhone was stolen from the center of his car, which was parked in front of his home. The victim believes the incident occurred Monday evening.
