Lacey Gets $400K State Grant To Fix Up Capstan Drive
The state announced hundreds of municipal aid grant awards for the 2020 fiscal year.
LACEY, NJ — The New Jersey Department of Transportation announced hundreds of improvement projects, including work on Capstan Drive in Forked River. The grant to Lacey will total $400,000.
The Municipal Aid grant awards totaled $161.25 million for the upcoming fiscal year, serving 542 New Jersey cities and towns. Ocean County municipalities received $10,738,814 in grants.
"Our administration sought to deliver a fairer approach to how government does business and this round of grants will, in the third straight year, reach more municipalities than in the previous fiscal year," Governor Phil Murphy said in a statement.
