The students from all the high schools had the opportunity to show their best to their fellow students by performing an act from the individual plays in between the award presentations.

The Ocean Arts Program is comprised of the theatre directors from all five schools and lead by Kerri DeBari of Barnegat High School. Each director picks three students to attend all of the plays and rate them in 25 categories from Best Usher/Front House Crew to Best Overall Production. These ratings are then tallied to determine the winners.
