Lacey Library To Temporarily Close
Patrons can pick up held items at the Waretown Branch and access digital resources during the Lacey Branch closure.
LACEY, NJ — The Lacey Branch of the Ocean County Library will undergo a temporary closure for a carpet and tiling project. The branch will be closed to the public starting Feb. 14 through Feb. 23. This project aims to enhance the facility for community members.
During the closure, patrons with items on hold at the Lacey Branch will have their materials transferred to the Waretown Branch. These items will be available for pickup at the Waretown Branch beginning Feb. 14. The Waretown Branch operates Monday through Saturday, opening at 10 a.m. each day.
For those needing to return materials, the book drop at the Lacey Branch will remain open throughout the closure period. Additionally, due dates for specialized items such as Chromebooks, hotspots, and Launchpads borrowed from the Lacey Branch will be adjusted to accommodate the temporary service interruption.

Community members are encouraged to utilize other nearby Ocean County Library branches for in-person services during this time. The library system also offers a wide array of digital resources that remain accessible 24/7. These include eBooks, audiobooks, research databases, and virtual programming, all available through theoceancountylibrary.org.
