Lacey Police Charge Forked River Woman With Drunk Driving

Laurie L. Harrison, 48, also charged with resisting arrest and numerous drug offenses.

LACEY TOWNSHIP, NJ - A Forked River woman is facing drunk driving charges after Lacey police stopped her for careless driving in Bamber Lakes, Police Chief Michael D. DiBella said.

Officer Anthony Sarno was on patrol when he stopped Laurie L. Harrison, 48, Goodluck Road at 11:21 p.m. on Dec. 18 in the area of Dover Road and Hurry Road, the chief said.

Harrison was charged with driving under the influence. She was taken to police headquarters, where she was also charged with reckless driving, careless driving, failure to maintain lane, driving with an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest, DiBella said.

Harrison's vehicle was impounded pursuant to John's Law, the chief said.
