Lacey Police Charge Pine Beach Man With Drunk Driving

Arrest came after motor vehicle stop on Route 9.

Lacey police recently arrested a Pine Beach man for driving under the influence after a motor vehicle stop on Route 9 near Nautilus Boulevard, Police Chief David A. Paprota said.

Officer Charles May conducted the traffic stop at 2:13 a.m. on Jan. 11. Investigation at the scene led to the arrest of Robert J. Anderson, 27, Motor Road, Pine Beach, the chief said.

Anderson was transported to police headquarters and processed. He was also issued traffic summonses for reckless driving and speeding. The vehicle he was operating was impounded pursuant to John’s Law, Paprota said.
