Lacey Police, First Responders Winding Up No-Shave November
Police, EMTs and others have forgone their razors to raise funds and awareness of various cancers.

LACEY, NJ — Residents in Lacey Township who have found some of their police officers and emergency service personnel to be on the "hairy side" will soon see them clean-shaven again.
"No-Shave November" comes to an end Friday, marking the end of uniformed police officers sporting beards and mustaches, all in the name of fighting cancer, Police Chief Michael DiBella said.
Members of the Lacey Township Police Department and local Emergency Services Volunteers began breaking protocol for a good cause. Lacey Township Police Officers, along with members from the Lanoka Harbor Fire Department, Bamber Lakes Fire Department, Lanoka Harbor EMS and the Lacey Township Dive Team started participating in the fundraiser Nov. 1.
