Lacey Police Investigating Incident Involving 'Highly Intoxicated' Youth At Lacey Middle School

A 14-year-old ”highly intoxicated” male juvenile found at Lacey Middle School recently needed immediate medical treatment and was taken to Community Medical Center in Toms River, Police Chief David A. Paprota said.

Officer John Mckee responded to the school at 660 Denton Avenue in Forked River at 9:37 p.m. on May 29 on a report of an intoxicated male juvenile on the side of the building, the chief said.

McKee located the youth and called Lacey EMS to take him to Community, Paprota said.

The investigation into the matter is continuing.
