Lacey Police Investigating Tampa Road Break-In In Forked River

Incident happened between Aug. 24 and Sept. 7, Police Chief Michael C. DiBella said.

LACEY TOWNSHIP, NJ - Lacey Township police are investigating an apparent break-in that happened at a home in the 800 block of Tampa Road in Forked River, Lacey Police Chief Michael C. DiBella said.

Officer Dimitrios Tsarnas responded to the home on a burglary report at 3:24 p.m. on Sept 7. The caller told police that someone forced entry into the home by breaking a window. The rear door was also found unlocked, the chief said.

It did not appear that anything was taken from the home at the time of the report. The damage to the home was estimated at $250, DiBella said.
