Lacey Police Investigating Theft Of $2,000 Generator

The red Honda generator was stolen from a Hoyt Street home under construction, Police Chief David A. Paprota said.

Someone stole a $2,000 Honda generator from outside a home under construction on Hoyt Street in Forked River, Police Chief Dvid A. Paprota said.

The victim, an employee of MS Electric Contractor, Inc, reported that between 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. on May 23, 2016, an unknown person or persons stole a generator, which was left outside on the east side of the home at the time of the theft, the chief said.

The generator is described as a Red, Honda IC 3000 generator with a surge protector tied to the handle. The total value of the stolen property is estimated at $2,000, Paprota said.
