Lacey Police Investigating Theft $3,000 In Jewelry And Cash From Lanoka Harbor Home

No signs of forced entry at Hazelton Avenue home, police chief says.

Lacey Township police are investigating the theft of cash and jewelry valued at $3,000 from a home in the 800 block of Hazelton Avenue, Police Chief David A. Paprota said.

Officer John D. Simonson responded to the Lanoka Harbor home at 4:49 p.m. on July 19 on a report of a residential burglary. The victim told police that during the day an unknown person or persons entered the residence and stole cash and jewelry with a total value of approximately $3,000. There were no signs of forced entry, the chief said.

Detective Brian Flynn responded and is handling the investigation, Paprota said.
