Lacey Recovery Center Seeking Valentine's Day Donations

The Xodus Recovery Community Center in Forked River will host a Valentine's Day event with free food and door prizes. The event takes place from 7-10 p.m. Thursday at the recovery center (203 Lacey Rd.).

Donna Catlow opened XRCC in December to help people continue addiction recovery. Catlow's sons have been treated for drug addiction, so she created a welcoming environment to help with non-clinical recovery.

XRCC is looking for local businesses who can donate to the event. The organization is asking establishments for gift certificates, baskets and other appropriate items for this event, said outreach coordinator Dorothie Bonfanti.
