Lacey Schools To Hold Strategic Planning Meeting Tonight

Want to have a say in what happens in the Lacey Township school district in the future?

Then come to the district’s Strategic Planning meeting at 7 p.m. in the high school’s library/media center tonight.

School officials want input from parents, community members, business owners and government leaders to create a three-year plan on mutually determined goals that will carry the district through 2018, according to the district‘s website.

“We have entered a time where there is unprecedented change in public education,” the website states. “There are increasing pressures to reform our schools and unending demands on our students to compete with 21stCentury Skills. Our plan will allow us to identify opportunities during these challenging times and focus all of the community’s resources toward common goals. Capitalizing on this opportunity will require all of our courage, discipline, and creativity.”
