Lacey Schools Set Delayed Opening Monday In Storm Aftermath
The district said schools will have a delayed opening; frigid temperatures and icy roads are anticipated in the morning.
LACEY, NJ — As cleanup from Saturday's blizzard continues in Lacey Township, school district officials have announced schools will be closed Monday.
"The Lacey Township School District will have a 2-hour delayed opening tomorrow, Monday, January 31, 2022 due to inclement weather," the district said in a notice on its website.
All morning preschool sessions are canceled. Afternoon preschool sessions will have their normal scheduled pick-up time.

Before-school child care programs will open at 8:45 a.m., the district said.
"If we close school, a notice will be sent out tomorrow morning," the district said Sunday.

The Ocean County Vocational-Technical Schools are closed on Monday.
