Lacey Swears In Three New Police Officers

LACEY, NJ — Meet Lacey's three newest police officers. Bruce Carver, Jr., Anthony Ravallo and Dallas Gant were sworn in Thursday. Each were assigned to the patrol division and were placed with a field training officer.

Carver grew up in South Toms River, graduation Toms River High School South in 2010. He graduated from Stockton University with a degree in criminal justice.

He worked with the Point Pleasant Beach Police Department after college. Then the South Toms River Police Department hired him full-time in 2017.

Carver was active with the neighborhood watch program in South Toms River. He enjoyed narcotics enforcement. Carver lives in Lacey with his fiancee, Jessica.

Ravallo grew up and Beachwood and graduated from Toms River High School South in 2012. He attended Ocean County College and Fairleigh Dickinson, where he continues to pursue his degree in criminal justice.

He joined the Seaside Park Police Department in 2014 as a Class I special police officer. He became a Class II officer after graduating the police academy, later becoming a full-time cop.

Ravallo joined the South Toms River Police Department in 2017 before joining Lacey PD. With South Toms River, he was active in the neighborhood watch program and a member of the Ocean County Regional SWAT Team. He lives in Lacey with his wife, Miranda, and their 6-month-old daughter.

Gant is a lifelong Lacey resident. He graduated Lacey Township High School in 2009, lettering in both baseball and basketball. Gant attended Coastal Carolina University, graduating in 2012 with a degree in business administration.

Seaside Heights PD hired Gant in 2015 as a Class I special police officer. He became Class II after graduating the police academy.

Gant joined the Ocean County Sheriff's Department in 2017. He worked as an investigator and then as a sheriff's officer. Gant worked in different sections of the sheriff's office, most recently their marine unit.
