Lacey Teen Competing On 'American Ninja Warrior:' Report

LACEY, NJ — Fans of NBC's "American Ninja Warrior," where hundreds of elite athletes compete in difficult obstacles, may see a familiar face. Lacey Township High School student Ava Colasanti will be competing on the upcoming season 14, after previously competing on season 13, according to the Sandpaper.

Colasanti currently ranks sixth among females in the Northeast National Ninja League standings, the news outlet reported. She spends hours a day on training.

Last season, Colasanti made it to the finals before being eliminated on the Jumping Spider, according to Ninja Guide, which shares news about the TV show. According to the Sandpaper, Colasanti was the youngest girl to ever make it to the finals.

Colasanti told the Sandpaper her goal was "just to do better than last year."
